We had a short stay here, family with kids, we loved it, very convenient access to city and restaurants, beds are great and nice… there was a festival close by with music lasted until mid-night, we asked to leave earlier as we are early sleepers… hotel was very kind and refunded the money. Very professional
Please DO NOT stay here. My experience was an absolute nightmare, I drove from Brisbane to Sydney for a concert and booked this “hotel” because it was close to the stadium and looked good on the photos advertised, the description said it had room service, private balconies etc., none of that is true. I’m not sure why it’s called WM hotel when it’s literally a motel. I went to check in and it was appalling, the room looked nothing like the photos they had advertised, there was literally a 3cm hole in the door underneath the lock where you could definitely see through if you peeked, the “private balcony” was a chair outside the door alongside all the other rooms. It was absolutely filthy, there were cockroaches in the room and it smelled like cigarettes, the carpet was extremely dirty and the shower had mould everywhere. I could go on and on about how horrible this place is. There’s also a sign in the carpark that says “park here at your own risk”??? what kind of “hotel” has that policy. I paid $300 for ONE night and I didn’t even end up staying, I did not feel safe whatsoever. I went to the reception and asked for a refund because I was basically scammed, the guy at the front desk was horrible, he did not care and didn’t offer any assistance at all and just said yep good luck finding a room last minute. I didn’t end up getting my money back which is so frustrating because I didn’t stay in the room at ALL.
Reception was alright, friendly enough but didn’t seem enthused to be there. Location was horrible it is no where near Bankstown rather Sefton is the closest station and even that is 2.5km away. Room was nice and renovated. However the door to the room has a gap under it big enough to slide a phone or sandal underneath. This was really concerning. The walls are paper thin as well. The other guests were unnecessarily loud at all hours of the night. We ended up checking out a day early and cut our loss on the cost. Wouldn’t ever return.
