Dorint City Hotel Salzburg

the hotel is a little bit dated but the overall experience was very good. we got the room at the back of the building so we got the garden view and bird chirping. the location was good for us as we like walking. the hotel is located 15 minutes by foot from the train station. the price is very affordable and the staff is friendly.

Currently here at The Dorint (Salzburg) for 5 Nights IM WRITING THIS AT 5-15 AM NO SLEEP DUE TO NOISE!!!!! . POSITIVE POINTS - Rooms Clean & Breakfast great. NEGATIVE POINTS - Very little sleep for two nights due to deliveries of loading large vans from 3am -5-30am. (I Write this at 5-15AM!!!) The bar area is freezing as it is positioned in the Reception area & the Doors are opened & closed every few seconds with noisy guests entering & re-entering due to smokers.The cold wind blows in resulting in ourselves to leave after reporting this. Disappointed as this was a surprise short break for my wife. Philip & Karen BLYDEN.

Disappointing Check-in Experience at Dorint Hotel I was very disappointed with the check-in experience at Dorint Hotel. The front desk staff asked me an extremely inappropriate and unprofessional question: "Are you staying for one hour?" This is completely unacceptable, especially considering that my room was booked for a night. Remarks of this nature are intrusive and do not align with the service standards expected from a hotel of this category!!! This experience significantly affected my mood and left me with a highly negative impression of my stay. I sincerely hope that the hotel management takes this matter seriously and provides proper training to the staff to prevent similar incidents in the future. It happened on 19.07.2025 about 4 pm.
