Tradition Meets Modern in a Perfect Alpine Escape We stayed 3 nights at Sonnhof as a young couple and were absolutely delighted. The service was flawless, with every detail handled with care, and the hotel itself is spotless and welcoming. The brand-new spa is a true haven of relaxation, blending modern design with a serene atmosphere. Dining was a highlight—the chef crafts elegant, delicious dishes each day from top-quality local suppliers, making every meal memorable. Tip: book a south-facing room; the breathtaking views will stay with you long after your stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights during in mid October. Staff is very friendly, the interior feels new and beautifully designed. In the restaurant, you have a table reserved for you for the whole stay - so if you decide to have dinner in the hotel you don't need to book a table. Breakfast is amazing with eggs/pancakes personally made for you. The "a la carte" dinner menu has many options and everything we tried was great. Big spa floor with indoor/outdoor heated pools. Everything in the hotel was just perfect! I wish we stayed there longer. The hotel is within a short driving distance of many national parks and landmarks. Our room was on the slope, I'm guessing that during the winter it's a great place for a ski vacation.

Love this hidden Juwel in the Austrian Alpes! The family owned hotel is small and welcoming / all dreams come true… staff is friendly and professional, the chefs in the kitchen love the work you will feel the passion in the food! Rooms are exactly my taste, the spa is a highlight and there are plenty of outdoor and indoor experiences around Alpendorf!!!
