Hotel Nockalm

Our recent weekend getaway at this beautiful mountain hotel in Austria was absolutely wonderful! We were three families, each with one child, and everyone had an amazing time. The kids enjoyed every moment, from the fun outdoor activities to the cozy indoor spaces, making it a perfect retreat for both adults and children alike. The service and hospitality were truly top-notch. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. We couldn’t find a single fault everything from the scenic views to the delightful amenities was just perfect. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience, and I wish the team all the best in continuing to provide such exceptional service. Thank you!!! "We had an amazing stay at this child-friendly hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. The kids were thrilled with the huge playroom where they could unwind after a day of ski school. The variety of food and snacks available was also a big plus, ensuring that even the pickiest eaters were satisfied. The hotel boasts both a large and a smaller pool, both of which were immaculately clean. Our children loved splashing around and playing in the water. We also appreciated the mini ski slope right next to the hotel, which was perfect for beginners and those just starting out on skis. And for the more experienced skiers in our group, the Katchberg ski resort was only a short 20-minute drive away. The rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable, providing a cozy space to relax after a long day of activities. While the furniture might be a bit dated, it didn't bother us at all. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff's dedication to ensuring we had a wonderful vacation. They were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We especially want to thank the owner, Gita, who was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns we had. The hotel also has a mini zoo with several animals and an outdoor playground with a zip line and slide, providing even more entertainment options for the kids. Plus, there are several spots right next to the hotel where children can enjoy sledding until nightfall. And just a 2-minute drive away, there's a tubing track that we unfortunately didn't get a chance to try. The hotel also has a fantastic ski storage room with boot warmers, and you can find several different types of sleds that the hotel owns and you can freely borrow. The warm welcome we received, complete with gifts for the children, made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with everything that this hotel has to offer, and we can't wait to return next year!"

In the middle of nowhere. But hotel itself have all you need. Room is great but bed little bit noisy. You can hear other room slam the door clearly. Pool is nice. Kids club is fine the environment little bit uncomfortable for my 1 year old boy. He always play one to another one, we offer to clean after he played but the old lady wasn't so friendly with him. But she is nice with girls drawing painting (above 5 years old children). I do understand bigger kids they more behaved and well in communication. But why call it kids club? After first time there we didn't feel good with attitude but we give them a chance, went there again meet the other staff and still the same vibe 🙂 uncomfortable even our child don't want to stay for long. The reception staff so nice friendly and very helpful. Same as restaurant staff she so kind and attentive. Dinner was amazing not much but tasty. Breakfast was so so what done is done no refill have to go early if you need good stuff like bakery or fruits. Lunch is complicated have to inform in advance we never have lunch for once as we don't know whether we will stay hotel or outside during that time. But the reception lady she can manage to brings a pizza for our boys thanks to her. So overall is good. Just too long driving from place to place.
