A Lovely stay! Great beds, very friendly hosts, good quality towels and an even better breakfast. With a lovely garden next to the river you have a nice and quiet spot to read a book.
Very beautiful property and quite place, amazing friendly service. Easy access (10 minutes drive) to organise a kayak in Chiny. 10 minutes also to Florenville centre....and many more.
For 1 night stay this hotel is totally fine. the coffee is VERY good! But there are some issues: 1. We have reserved a room in the Grand Confort category - the room was very small (room #10). We wonder how small are the rooms in the lower category. Very little space in the bathroom. This was disappointing. But the room itself was clean. 2. While the owner is very friendly, it is very hard to communicate if you do not speak French. Not only at the hotel but also in town people hardly speak any other language and do not make an effort to speak slower or clearer. Side note: even with cable TV in the room there are ONLY french speaking channels (in a country with 3 official languages...). 3. The hotel bar was closed in the evening 4. It is time to change the carpet in the corridors and stairs... 5. Not anyone's fault but you do need to drive every time you want to go to town: dinner, snacks, a walk - you must drive. Anyway, all in all it is not terrible but quite expensive relative to what you get.
