We stayed for 3 nights a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with our stay! We were lucky enough to get a newly renovated room, and it was absolutely beautiful! Very modern and very clean! Our kids were checking in on our last night, so we asked the front desk if there was any way that their room could be near ours and they said they would make a note in their file. They ended up being just down the hall in a renovated room as well, which was absolutely beautiful! The staff were super accommodating which we greatly appreciated! The location is also perfect. Close walks to Old Quebec and the Plains of Abraham. And just 2 blocks down to a great street full of restaurants and bakeries. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend the Delta.
The property is conveniently located and was central to most of our activities. The rooms are dated and does not reflect the current tech... They have an iPod dock and limited power outlets by the bed. The cabinets in the room are sparse and suitable for a single person. In room food options are bar menu foods that need to be picked up. They do have a pantry for a daily cost that is well stocked. The main hotel area looks refurbished. They do have a small pool that is great for family. Noticed people with dogs in the corridors.
This is an odd hotel, but it does the job for the price and location. The rooms are definitely dated and show signs of wear, but they are clean and comfortable enough. The pool area is small but a nice place to relax for an afternoon swim. The elevator setup is unusual. The main elevators from the lobby only go up to the 3rd floor. From there, you have to get off and switch to a different set to reach the higher levels. My husband was not a fan. That being said, the location is excellent. It is about a 15min walk to Old Quebec, and with prices much lower than the Hilton next door, this hotel has its appeal. We would stay again if the rates remain reasonable.
