Golden Tulip CDG Airport Roissy

This is a four star hotel - keep this in mind. Due to our flight being cancelled we were forced to go this hotel. The issues begin the lack of a shuttle bus. We waited about 2 hours to finally get a taxi. When you enter the hotel lobby the smell of what I assume is drains is overpowering. It stinks.. 3 of us and we get a room of two single beds. They promised a cot for our toddler and when we went down the 3rd time they said no - after promising 2 times before. The staff at the bar couldn’t talk english and it was a struggle. Room was noisy and the toilet flush surround fell off. Shower was quite dirty. I obviously have a different standard of 4 star than this hotel.

I wish I could rate this hotel a -1000, horrible and rude staff, one of the receptionist had the audacity to tell me “In 1 star hotels they might charge less but since we are 4 stars we charge a higher deposit” and my mom and I just looked at her confused since we didn’t even mention anything about the price. We have stayed at Marriott and other 5 Star hotels and NEVER have I EVER been told that and speaking to me as if I were a begger. Absolutely ridiculous, I just staying here during transit since it was my only option but absolutely ridiculous. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Restaurant staff are careless and rude. We went to eat at the restaurant downstairs, and the server practically ignored our table the entire time. We had to go the bar area to get our servers attention (multiple times) because he was sitting behind the bar talking with the other bartender. We were also charged for tap water, when there is a law that tap water has to be served for free. Hallways and rooms smell horrible.
