Hotel Kaiseralm

Highly recommended for the warm feeling of the hotel, in particulare the people are very nice and professional. The location is very quiet, has a nice buffet breakfast and downstairs sauna, billiard and 2 lanes bowling. Definitely has a great value. Thank you!

Its a very nice family owned Hotel, convenient connected to the German highway on my way to Berlin. Local drinks and food are very delicious, the included breakfast buffet was an excellent starter for a new day adventure...

This hotel didn't really feel like a 4-star hotel. While the rooms where functional and clean, the sound insulation was terrible: We heard every single footstep from above and every neighbor door slamming loud and clear. On top, there was a festival in the nearby town with loud, bass-heavy music, and it was impossible to ignore even with windows closed and earplugs. The breakfast buffet was more in the spirit of, well, a youth hostel -- rudimentary. A little note on the table informed you that if you were to order anything (eggs sunny-side up, espresso, ...), that would cost extra. When I asked the waitress if I might have a bigger glass (there were only 100 ml ones), I got but a grumpy response. Other than that, the staff at the reception were friendly but at times also somewhat clueless. On the plus side, the hotel is well situated for little hikes and has an indoor pool open till 10pm (and a little sauna).
