A very friendly, family-run hotel with a lovely terrace. Clean, well-maintained, comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. It was a very pleasant stay, thank you very much, we'd be happy to come back.
Nice hotel, verry friendly staff
There were five of us staying in two rooms at this family-run hotel. Our first impression was good. Everything was beautifully quaint and cozy. We were even personally escorted to our room by the manager. Room: Unfortunately, our room didn't look like the one pictured on the website, but that wasn't a big problem for us. The bed was a bit hard. The bathroom, however, was really nice and modern, just like the balcony, where the sun greets you in the morning :) The hotel itself is very noisy. If someone had the TV on in the room, you could clearly hear everything in the hallway. Even at night, when we were still talking, our neighbor complained that we should keep it down. Pool/Spa: The pool was small but nice, with a pleasant 29°C and a small waterfall. The sauna area was excellent and relaxing. There was a sauna and a steam bath. However, you have to register before using the spa, so everything will probably be turned on. Food: The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of items, although a bit limited, but they are immediately replenished if something runs out. Vegans, etc. Find everything your heart desires here! The snack bar, which serves food from lunch until 7 p.m., has tarte flambée and snack platters, among other snacks, which are delicious but also expensive. Nothing was included, at least not to our knowledge. For five people, we spent around €80. Location/Activities: The hotel is located on the outskirts of Oberstaufen. It's beautifully green and quiet. Just a few minutes from the pedestrian zone with many shops, restaurants, and bus connections. The Aquaria, located right next to the hotel, is included with the Oberstaufen Card and is worth a visit. The bus also takes you to mountain railways, a summer toboggan run, and much more.
