Hotel König

Our first visit to Passau, chose the Koenig due to its location and ‘underground’ parking. We had a lovely room on the second floor overlooking the River Danube, aircon and a great shower. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed Passau and the hotel. Classic continental breakfast with enough food options to suit most people. I always make a point of talking to staff, even the cleaners, people appreciate the odd kind word and a thank you for their efforts. You can access the Old Town from the second floor and returning the same way just requires you to scan your key card to release the door for entry. Without a doubt if we returned to Passau the Koenig would be our choice of hotel to stay at.

The room is nicely designed, spacious enough. Location is very convenient, you may access the Old town easily, from the second floor, you can exit on one of the streets. Good service, we were able to store our ebikes safely in their garage.

Lovely small hotel across the street from the Danube. We had a nice, large room which was spotless, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great for walking around the old town of Passau and enjoying views across the Danube as well as walking along the nearby Inn river.
