Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt Maininsel

I only stayed for one night on business. Received a warm welcome from the Queen of the Island 😎🇩🇪🙌. The location is rather beautiful overlooking the river. The room was spotless. I ate in the restaurant that evening and both food and service were great. All the staff spoke excellent English which made my stay more relaxed. Many thanks 🙏

a good short stay. very friendly staff! breakfast was a bit basic but good enough - the pastriest weren’t the freshest and only basic coffee included - no coffee machine. rooms are basic and a little aged, bathroom was a little dirty, but the beds were comfy and the room was quiet. nice location by the river

The hotel is on a isle in the middle of the river Main. And not far from city center. The hotel is part of a Fairy Center and compartment complex. So far as good. Check in was fine. Gotten the wished room with river view. Bad mistake. The room was spacious, clean but not one of the renovated rooms/ hotels of Mercure. The room was fine. But, the mistake was to book a room with river view in summer. Because in the evening the promenade and street was used for posing by cars and you heard all the night long people talking, chattering. The hotel stuff confirmed us the problem with that street especially in the summer. And the bar was boring.
