Definitely one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in while in Germany. The room was clean and everyone was friendly. The restaurant on the ground floor was very good and there were lots of nice shops and cafes within walking distance.

Nice hotel built in a beautiful place surrounded by green forests. The room was very clean and tidy, having, in addition to the standard equipment, a mini fridge with a minibar. Given the location and atmosphere of the area, don't expect to find modern furnishings. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety. It also has a comfortable parking lot. One of the negatives is the fact that when I got there in the evening, there was no one at the reception, and the doors were locked. Finally I got in with ally my good luck, since after some time (during which I was ringing the bell), a woman who had finished her shift came out, so I entered and she gave me my room card in an envelope, which someone had left on the reception desk. In general, it is a hotel that has a very good price-quality ratio and if I did not have the above experience (which may have been purely a rare and random case) I would give another star in the "service" field. Just in case, I suggest you make sure you arrive before 21:00

A fine example of the German understanding of class and luxury... Zero class and zero luxury. If you like to spend a night in the ambient of a middle class retirement home - this hotel is the place for you. Our room had the flair of a tasteless 90s working class bedroom, mattresses and pillows are uncomfortable. If you expect a king- or queen-size bed in a double room... just forget it. Here you get two small beds placed next to eachother with a gap between them that extends while you sleep. The bathroom was clean but the shower has definitely seen better times. You can book rooms on the riverside of the hotel which cost 10€ more than those on the roadside. Do so if you want it a bit more quiet but don't expect a view... Sadly from our room the river view was invisible... Service is slightly bad. Receptionist on our check in was a unmotivated lady with a terrible sense of humour, she probably thinks hotel guests are worth laughing about... Don't be surprised if she makes fun of your last name.
