We recently stayed at Lucy Hotel in Chalkida and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is on the waterfront, surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars, making it an ideal spot for exploring the vibrant local scene. Our room, while not offering a bay view, was free from the noise of the bustling promenade. The rooms have been refurbished. I personally found the mattress uncomfortable, but that’s just my personal preference. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Thank you Alexandra ! Breakfast was good, offering a decent variety, though not exceptional. The view is beautiful. Dinner, included in our half-board plan, was a highlight. Served at the table (not buffet-style), our fish dishes were tasty and accompanied by a glass of wine, and our waitress was both attentive and friendly. The restaurant's view over the Euripus Strait added to the dining experience. The hotel doesn't offer free parking, there is a paid parking lot available that we ended up not using since we easily found a free parking spot nearby. Lucy Hotel offers a great location for those who like lively nightlife , commendable service, and comfortable accommodations.
A nicely located hotel. Close to the boulevard and a sea view. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the hotel. Ofcourse this creates some noise in the room but you can't expect any different on a hotel located in a busy area. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The sea view balcony is a great addition to the room. The room itself is very basic and the matrasses need an update Fridge and aircon available in the rooms.
Impossible to sleep. Loud base music from all directions. Avoid if you like to sleep. Rooms are also very dated. Looks like it was last renovated in the 80s. It claims to be a four star hotel....not if you're used to central European or USA standards. room was worse than motel 6. Paint was peeling off. Horrendous bathroom. Extremely overpriced for what it is. Never again.
