Avaton Resort and Spa

Great experience at this hotel. Amazing view, impeccable and spacious rooms, very nice and friendly service, very good copious breakfast and nice clean spa. Only small setbacks on a globally excellent experience were the following: The pool area has the most amazing view but is located just above the main trail of the caldeira, so you see a lot of people passing by when resting by the pool. But I think it's pretty much the case for all hotels on the caldeira. + A member of the staff was watching videos and calling people on his phone a lot when we were resting by the pool. It is not terrible in itself, but to me this shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel.

Wonderful stay in Santorini. We stayed for 3 nights. They help us to arrange pick up n drop off taxi to the port. Our boat arrived early and leaving in the afternoon. They accommodated us for early check in n late check out. All the staff super friendly n helpful, during the check in, they provide some guidance n insight about traveling in Santorini. Breakfast served in the room, we need to choose the time slot n menu we want. They only serve 1 room on each timeslot (every 15mnt) they expect us to let them know the menu we want max at 8pm so they have time to prep for the following morning. And we were late, we rang the reception almost at 9pm, and they still happily come to our room n arranging jt for us. When its too windy outside, we decide to have breakfast inside and they help to set it up. Ambience, its really peaceful. We love Imerovigli, stunning view. Some people passed by bcs its on the trekking path Oia to Fira walk, but not disrupting. The hot tub always on, whenever we want, we can just dipped ourselves.

Stayed in June for 10 days and was married at their sister hotel. The place is amazing and the staff even more. The service is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and all done from the heart and a willingness to serve and make sure customers have the best holiday from all the staff. The views from the rooms over the Caldera and Oia are to die for and the sunsets fantastic. The hotel is on the path to Tia which we walked one day. Beware it takes about 2.5 hours and is very hot, but a fantastic experience. Breakfast is served in your room or outside on your terrace and always on time when ordered for. Bar food and drinks are special. Location is down a short path from the road, but this makes it nice and quiet and all bags are carried for you so no worries about transporting cases. Excellent restaurants on your doorstep and about a 20 minute walk into the capital Fira. We loved every minute on Santorini but was made extra special by the accommodation and service at the Avaton resort. Love and thanks from Jane and Tim
