We absolutely loved this hotel. The position on the edge of old Valletta is perfect. It's a short walk to most places, but the hotel is in a really quiet residential area. The most noise you hear is the parrot that lives opposite! The staff are all very friendly and professional and the breakfast is wonderful. There are nice touches like cake in the afternoon and free wine on the roof terrace in the evenings. There is a comfortable lounge area, if the weather is not so good.

Stayed here for three nights as a solo traveler last week. I selected this hotel because I'd read lots of reviews another hotel about how loud it can be late at night in Valetta. They were right because music is blasting from most of the bars until at least 1am, which would be annoying if you are trying to sleep. This hotel was a 5 minute walk from the central area but 100% quiet, not a sound from any bars, cars, or people. The room was a good size, nice and clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. A friend of mine was staying at a hotel one block away and the food and service at 19 Rooms was way better at half the price. A special thanks to Ruby for being so patient and kind, not sure I've ever had a front desk person be that genuinely nice before! Highly recommend this little hotel.

Perfect stay in Valletta! It’s a small town so the location is (I think) always good. 19 Rooms is in the old part of the town, and the most beautiful part of Malta! The staff is so friendly, and they are genuine! Breakfast is perfect and the room is comfy, with a lot of space and comfortable for your stay! 👏
