I had a lovely week-long stay at the Prince Street Inn! The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance, including great restaurants, the beautiful waterfront, and the metro, making it super easy to get around. The building is very clean and newly renovated, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Street parking is available, which was really convenient. What really stood out was the management—they were excellent in communication and very welcoming throughout my stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend the Prince Street Inn and would definitely stay here again!
Great place and good service! Our room was cute, just like the photos showed. Small but cozy. The Prince Suite never got quite as cold as we would have liked, the bathroom door was very squeaky, and in general you could hear lots of noise through the walls from the other suites, the hallway and the stairwells. We felt that it was a good value for the location and there’s tons to do in Old Town!
Fantastic location in very walkable, quaint Alexandria! Near lots of shops and places to eat. Coded entries to main door and units make for easy access. Nice furnishings overall with a contemporary style. Our unit faced street, had large windows, and was extremely bright all night, black out shades would help significantly. Mattress is on a platform fixed into a corner, meaning someone is stuck against the wall to sleep and will need to crawl over the other to get out to use the restroom - know before you go. It was less than ideal for this 50+ year old couple. While there was a cute kitchenette, the microwave did not work. We used the mini fridge, a few dishes, and we did appreciate the trash and recycling containers. We weren’t the type to be there enough to use the pots and pans and cooking surface. There was no closet (we hung clothes from the TV bracket) and some of our guests had only 1 hanger in their units. We only had hot water during a single shower over 4 days and next to no water pressure, so the water heater would seem insufficient. The towels were absorbent but incredibly coarse and we could find no additional linens. Bath hardware was poorly installed in several units; toilet paper holder was falling off the wall in ours, in others the towel ring had come apart. If you need ADA accessibility, there is a unit with a very good ramp, however the alleyway to get to the ramp is quite cobbled and unsteady for a walker or wheelchair rider. There are no railings up the 4 or 5 steps at the front entry. Great potential here and attention to some details will really make it a gem.
