Me and my family have been staying at the overlook motel for over four years now it has been a tradition. We have been going every year starting August 1. It has been amazing coming here with having so much memories and so much fun times. The beds are so comfortable the showers, amazing and even the bathrooms make you feel so welcome. I love waking up in the morning and as soon as my eyes open, I can just see the ocean right out the window. I love Lincoln city as well with the overlook motel. I highly recommend staying here. It is life-changing.❤️

This is our "go-to" place when staying in Lincoln City. You have to keep in mind that the building is old, probably built in the 1930's and so therefore gives off "Grandma's Cottage" vibe. I love how cozy and comfortable the units are, and the views are amazing. Rooms are clean and well supplied with all your needs. Each unit is unique and offers a different set up according to the needs. We have stayed in some of the larger units when our children have joined us, but when it is just my husband and I, we choose Unit 1. The one constant however is the fabulous view.

Unit 7, Overlook Hotel Lincoln City Perched above the ocean’s roar, Unit 7 has much in store— Windows framing skies so wide, Where sunsets melt and seagulls glide. The views? Unreal. A painter’s dream— Waves that sparkle, clouds that gleam. Boats drift by, the coastline bends, Each glance a postcard that never ends. But one small quirk, I must disclose: The bathroom door? It barely closes. Still, for skies like fire and sea like glass, I’ll let that little hiccup pass.
