A lovely hotel in the fabulous location. Our room had a balcony overlooking the valley - so nice to sit outside and take it in with a drink. The furnishings in the room are a little old now and the restaurant for dinner seemed expensive for the quality of food provided but these are minor criticisms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall - really good with nice open park-like space outside and plenty of parking....a very nice alternative to the somewhat cold and impersonal "corporate" hotels.
We just came back from our stay of 5 nights at this wonderful place. I totally recommend it and would go back there anytime. If your plan is to hit the slopes in PAL, the location is perfect. It’s also 5 min by car to La Vella. They offer you a free shuttle to Massana lift or you can get to PAL with your own car in 20 min. The staff went above and beyond every time we asked a question. The room is spacious, warm, has everything you need. For Christmas Eve they had a small visit from Santa and it was well organized and very fun for the entire family. We really felt like home there and we were amazed by the great service everyone provided, their friendliness towards kids, their flexibility and warmth. We had a half board, dinners are always changing and the menu is a la carte with 5 options to choose from, they include bread, appetizer , main course, water and desert. Kudos to the restaurant manager and his staff ( Diego, Mauro, Zhami and the rest), they provide an amazing service, they are young and hard working people. Breakfast is the same everyday, it would be nice to change it a bit from time to time but it has all the basics. Thank you all and we would love to come back someday.
Good hotel, but not good food in the restaurant which was in a different building and required a 10 minute walk up stairs and across a carpark. Not a big deal except if you have mobility issues and then the walk would be even longer via the road. My tofu dish was excellent but the cannelloni looked like it had come out of a freezer, had the plastic lid pierced and then microwaved for 15 mins. Awful.
