Hotel was within walking distance to the beach and the staff was very greeting and charismatic. There is a lot of food options near, including a Starbucks attached to the same building. Even though checkout is standard time, they are able to keep baggage behind the counter until you head to the airport. We also used bikes that they provide (apart of the amenties fee). The rooftop pool has quite an amazing view. Not much noise around, it was peaceful. This was a perfect place for our quick trip to Miami!

Among all the hotels in Miami South Beach, this one truly stands out as the best value for money. During non-peak seasons, the nightly rate typically falls between $200 to $300, which is very reasonable for this area—especially considering that some rooms even offer ocean views. If you opt for a more basic room type, the price can drop even lower, making it even more affordable. What makes this hotel even more impressive is that, despite its lower price, the overall facilities are comparable to those found in nearby luxury hotels that charge $500 to $600 per night. You’re essentially getting the same level of comfort at half the cost. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service, especially at the front desk. One Asian female staff member in particular was incredibly kind and sincere. She always responded to my housekeeping requests promptly and even helped track the timing to suit my schedule. When I asked for a late checkout, she took care of everything with professionalism and a warm attitude. In fact, her service was better than what I’ve experienced at many higher-end Marriott properties. She was more respectful, attentive, and guest-focused than staff at some JW Marriott hotels I’ve stayed in. As a result, I now consider myself a loyal AC Hotel guest. I’ve tried many premium options, but I’ve come to realize that great service and guest care don’t always come with a higher price tag.

I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world, and I can honestly say the AC Marriott Miami Beach was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, especially when it comes to cleanliness and customer service. Shocked that people are commenting that this place was clean? The condition of the room we were given was unacceptable, and the photos are completely inaccurate across the entire property, the definition of a catfish. Travelers need to be warned: document EVERYTHING. Take photos, keep notes, and don’t trust verbal assurances from staff. Not that this would do you any good, it seems all the proof in the world won’t save you from being charged because this property cares about one thing only: a paycheck, not their guests. We were told repeatedly that the issue of our early check out due to the terrible state of our room “would be escalated” and “not a problem” only to be ignored for days and then charged in full with no communication. The front desk seemed confused every time we followed up, and not once were we able to reach or hear from a property manager. It felt like no one knew what was going on, or worse, no one cared and they are just looking to charge you in a shady way. Radio silence from this property for the full week and the only communication we got was a folio charge for the full stay. There is no way this property deserves its current star rating, it’s misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You’re better off anywhere else. We ended up at another Marriott property down the road and had a fantastic stay. Please save yourself the trouble and book any other property but this one. If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would.
