Manager accommodated me at the last minute in the dead of night with a smile. Even provided a fantastic last minute rate and offered me a drink on the house. Level of service and quality of room far beyond the charged rate. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Truly first class.

Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were basic but comfortable. Our group of 14 ate in the restaurant and the food and service could not be faulted, very reasonable prices. Definitely would return

Room 2 is quite small and in the summer is very hot. This seems to be exaccerbated by the fact the window overlooks the rear of the restaurant below's ventilation system so it's very hot, noisy and food smells waft in if you open your window. The window is also easily accessible from the road nearby as there is the kitchen roof directly below - didn't feel secure and certainly couldn't leave the window open whilst we weren't there. The room was not cleaned/towels changed for the duration of our stay (2 nights) and the doors outside in the corridor banging and staff at the restaurant shouting and cooking at half 6 in the morning meant we didn't get much in the way of sleep. A lot of the furniture was falling apart with drawers and wardrobe doors hanging off, broken ironing board being unusable. All the pictures from the site are of their room at the front which is worlds apart in terms of comfort and quality. Definitely request a room facing the seaafront as those appear to be completely different to the ones in the rear. AVOID ROOM 2!
