I had a truly wonderful stay at this amazing hotel. The room with a private pool was incredibly modern and well-designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort and luxury. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes and delightful desserts. The drinks were also very good, refreshing and well-prepared. What made the experience even more special was the hotel staff – extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would like to give special thanks to Ksenia and Dora – two wonderful women who made me feel like I was among true friends. Their warmth and kindness added a personal touch that I will never forget. Highly recommended – I can’t wait to come back!
Very pleasant hotel. We had booked a Sensu room with direct access to the pool, which was a great experience. Being able to access the pool directly from the room's terrace is really nice. The staff is warm and smiling, always ready to help. The bedding is very comfortable. There was a small issue with the shower door upon arrival, but it was fixed during the day by maintenance after we called the reception. The housekeeping team is meticulous; every day, the towels are changed, and the room is cleaned.
We booked this holiday through On the Beach and paid over £3,500, expecting a standard that matched the photos and descriptions shown on the website. Unfortunately, the reality was very different, and we are extremely disappointed with our experience. First of all, the room looked nothing like the photos shown on the On the Beach website. When we raised this with the hotel manager, we were told he believed it looked “exactly the same” and that we had “paid for what we got.” There was no apology or attempt to resolve the issue, aside from a vague offer to let us know if a similar room type became available due to cancellation — which we were never followed up on. We also experienced ongoing issues with the shower, which only ever produced lukewarm water, even on the highest heat setting. This was raised with the manager, who said he would send maintenance — but the issue was never fixed, and nothing was mentioned again despite us bumping into him several times afterwards. We then asked another lady at the front desk, who said they would send someone from maintenance. She later confirmed that they were not able to do anything about the temperature of the shower. On top of that, we were made to wait over an hour just to get three sunbeds from the lifeguard — again, with no apology. Staff often made us feel like an inconvenience simply for asking, and there was clearly poor communication among the team. The one positive we can mention is the bar staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When we booked to eat at the hotel’s restaurant, we were served cold pasta. After we finished our meal, the waiter came over and asked how it was. We politely told him the pasta was cold, to which he simply replied “OK” and walked off — no apology, no offer to rectify it, and no further response. We also spoke to numerous other guests who were equally disappointed with their stays — many of whom had spent even more money than we did. A number of them said their rooms were also completely different from what was shown online and that they felt misled. One couple told us they had asked for chicken off the bone at the buffet, and although the manager said he would inform the kitchen staff, he also told the male guest that he needed a “healthier lifestyle” — an inappropriate and unnecessary comment that left them feeling uncomfortable. Shockingly, the manager admitted during one of our conversations that the hotel uses images of higher-category rooms on listings like those shown on On the Beach. When I questioned this, he quickly shut the conversation down rather than offer any sort of explanation or justification. This experience left us incredibly let down — we do not feel we received what we were sold, and it’s unacceptable for a holiday at this price point. I would strongly urge On the Beach to review the accuracy and integrity of the listings for this property, as they are misleading and do not reflect the reality of what guests are receiving. HOWEVER, the pool / bar staff were extremely good fun, very helpful, very friendly and were very hard working. They need to be praised for this as this completely made our holiday and turned it around. So a massive thank you to them.
