I want to say a big thank you to the front desk team for their excellent service. Everyone was very professional and truly outstanding. They explained all the hotel facilities and its history with such warmth and energy. The Sultanah team took equally good care of us during all our meals (both breakfast and afternoon tea). They paid attention to every little detail and made us feel special throughout our stay. One of the best parts was when the Chef came to personally welcome us and explain the breakfast menu. We loved all the food both times. Everything from how beautifully the dishes were presented to how delicious they tasted was perfect. The fried fish was honestly the best I've ever had. It wasn't just breakfast - it was a special experience we looked forward to every morning. I also really appreciated the free cultural tour with Khalid. He shared us so much about Oman's history and culture, as well as the hotel's background. He was extremely kind and made the tour very enjoyable. What makes this hotel special is that every department works together to provide amazing service. The staff don't just do their jobs - they make real connections with guests and create memories that last long after you leave.
I had a fantastic stay at this place. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, the view was beuatiful and the atmosphere was relaxing. Everything from check-in to breakfast and activities was enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
Together with my husband we spent 6 days at the Shangri-La Al Husn in Muscat. Before getting to the hotel we received a mail from a lovely French lady who is responsible for guest relationship. Excellent! We were able to convey all our plans and also needs to this lady who then organized and booked all our restaurants. We also asked for a room upgrade and were so spoilt to spend a week in such a lovely large room!! Excellent service, and excellent client relationship manager. Thank you Cylia Duchose. 🙂 It took us a while to unwind and fall into our daily routine of either going to the beach or pool and being pampered by all the wonderful staff bringing us coolboxes with water, Evian water cooled face spray and juices. We also experienced baby turtles being set off to fend for themselves. Quite incredible. Restaurants are fine. There are quite a few options. We used the lazy river which I am sorry to say was rather dirty. The sister hotels: Al Bandar and Al Waha felt overwhelmingly full and truly of lesser quality. Overall I am quite certain that we will return to the Shangri-La Al Husn or another Shangri-La somewhere else.
