Albatros Hotel

I had a great time, the room was kinda outdated, but it was fine. You're at the end of the Earth so you can't be too picky. The best location in Ushuaia, next to the main commercial street and the waterfront. Walkable to everywhere. I went in the dead of winter so it was extra special. I highly recommend winter in Ushuaia, fewer people, and an incredible atmosphere.

It was a good location because it was convenient to take a cruise from Ushuaia and go out to town. The interior was cozy and warm with simple decorations. The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel room seemed a little small, but the service was satisfactory during my stay.

The room was very small, which would have been fine, but the oversized furniture made it nearly impossible to open our bags. This hotel also doesn’t have AC, which wasn’t a dealbreaker, but the smoking station was directly under our window, leaving us with the choice of being uncomfortably warm or dealing with cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, they couldn’t move our room since the hotel was sold out. On the positive side, the location is great, and the staff was friendly. However, given the overall experience, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—there’s a seemingly nicer hotel right next door.
