While the street that the hotel entrance is located on is not the best- there are people loitering around it most hours of the day- the same can be said for a large areas of the city itself. People in Bologna are very friendly & I never felt unsafe, even walking around empty streets after sunset. As for the hotel itself- staff were absolutely fantastic, including the bartender & the lady in charge of breakfast, but especially the young lady working the front desk. Friendly, plenty of recommendations & happy to satisfy every request I made. My room was extremely clean & l very much got an intimate "small-hotel" vibe from my stay. The mini-bar items & limited breakfast options are pricey, but overall I'll still rate my stay at 5 stars & would stay here again.
What an amazing hotel. The guest service was amazing. The room was small but perfect, clean, and beautiful. Breakfast was so delicious, fresh, and so many delicious fresh baked yummies. Amazing location, close to all.
This hotel should not be listed on any serious travel platform. The conditions were absolutely unacceptable. The first room provided had a terrible smell coming from the wardrobe, making it impossible to stay inside. After complaining, I was moved to another room located directly under the hotel’s laundry facilities — industrial machines operating from 3:30 AM made it impossible to sleep. Additionally, the window faced a street where groups of drug addicts gathered until late at night, shouting and causing significant disturbance until 2 AM. I left the hotel the next morning without having slept at all. What makes this situation even worse is the behavior of the management. After paying directly at the hotel with my card (just to leave as soon as possible), the manager cancelled my reservation on Booking.com — most likely to avoid issuing a refund and to avoid paying the platform’s commission. I have been trying to resolve this matter since February. Unfortunately, Booking.com claims they cannot intervene because the payment was processed directly by the hotel. This hotel provides neither minimum accommodation standards nor any sense of safety for guests. The management acts in bad faith, and customer service is non-existent. Stay away from this hotel.
