Bad customer service: We tried to change the dates for our hiking trip as my partner had an injury a couple of days before. I submitted the request via booking.com and told by the hotel not to worry that we will hear back in a few hours. No response at all. I called several times with no answer or told to call back. When I finally spoke to someone from the hotel 1 day before the booking, I was told there were no available rooms for the dates I selected even though I could book those same dates through the app. The hotel had availability but just did not want to help us in any way for our only vacation of the year. No security: When we arrived at the hotel, we could leave our luggage before check-in but the receptionist just left it on the side all afternoon where anyone could take it. Chaotic check-in: When we came back to check-in there was a very long queue. The receptionist let people push in and the whole process was very long even though we and most others had already checked in online. It was nearly 1 hour before we managed to get our room key. Dirty room: blankets are provided but they were filthy, with marks all over them. Also found dark stains on the white towels + hair in the bathroom. Noisy room: the room faced the street and you can hear every car and motorcycle pass. Bring earplugs if you want to try sleep. Weak WiFi: this kept cutting out or was quite slow. (BTW, our mobile SIMS did not work at all in Andorra. We were told that most from the rest of Europe don't and you had to buy a local SIM instead.) Broken items: we had no idea if the fridge in the room was broken or it was in but just wasn't cold. The hairdryer was also broken. On top of this, as you can see the location is not ideal. It's a 30 minute walk into the centre. No taxis in sight, but a few buses going passed from time to time.

I and my friend stayed here for one night. We booked on booking.com, which showed 7.6 rattlings. It was mentioned that parking was available but when we reached the gate, there was no parking available. We had to wander around for 2 hours and could only find parking 2 kilometres away, and it was very expensive. The bathroom flush tank was not working properly. The door key stopped working after a single use. We had to come down and up from the 4th floor for multiple times for getting the key to work. Very rude staff, the atmosphere is very unhygienic. Never stay here

I stayed at Hotel Alegria Andorra for 3 nights (€360, room only) and had a terrible experience. Despite claiming to be 4-star, the hotel failed in basic cleanliness, amenities and service. Filthy and unsafe room – The bathroom ceiling was severely damaged, with water stains, moss, holes, and debris falling into the toilet. Completely unhygienic and unacceptable. No basic amenities – No shampoo provided (only two bath soaps), which should be standard. Unusable Wi-Fi – The internet was not working, making it impossible to connect. Noisy and poorly managed – I was put on the same floor as a group of school children who shouted and ran around all evening, with no staff intervention. Non-functional room phone – I couldn’t call reception to report issues and had to go downstairs every time. Unhelpful and dismissive customer service – I reported all issues at reception but was met with denial and excuses. Management refused to acknowledge the photo evidence I sent of the horrible room conditions. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and professional stay. Avoid at all costs. Getting in touch with customer service only gives you even more anger on how they dismissed your comments. ⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely not worth the price.
