Alexandria Spa & Wellness Hotel

Very nice hotel in a very charming spa city. We really enjoy our stay. Stuff is very nice. Breakfast is very good. In good weather you can even sit on the terase. Good location. The best thing is spa. There is hot water in jacuzzies. It is not overcrowded so you really can enjoy. The only minus is higher price for parking. French restaurant we haven't tried.

This is now the second time we spent a week in this hotel and can only recommend it. The staff is very friendly, the wellness is excellent and quiet and the town of Luhacovice is a great place to unwind. Only point for improvement for the room is to have more electricity plugs next to the bed. In the time where everyone has a smartphone and a notebook, having no electricity plugs next to the bed (unless you crawl under the beside table and unplug the night lamp) is not sufficient anymore.

I was very disappointed with the lunch, service and food. The waitress was very unpleasant. The food was served and no one came back to the table until we were done. My risotto lacked flavor and wasn't fully cooked. Tasted terrible. The prawns had a horrible texture and smelt very fishy, no flavor. However, my appetizer was great (beef tartar). My children had spaghetti which they enjoyed. The portions for spaghetti were very small and my son was still hungry. My biggest issue was food was served and then no one came. We sat there and no one came back to ask how the meal was. That is what upset me the most, otherwise I wouldn't have been so pissed off!
