Alizes Port Soleil

We booked a two bed, two bath houseboat for an overnight stop while cycling. Booking direct via their website. It was a late booking and the website payment was a bit strange in that I needed to make two separate payments as the total was split into a 50% deposit and then the 50% balance. Could have been a single transaction as it was a bit confusing. However the houseboats are super cool. Plenty of space on the terrace for seating and our ebikes plus an outside power socket. The space inside is pretty good considering you are in a floating mobile home. Kitchen and inside dining area well equipped. Very easy to prepare apéros to go with a bottle of wine and watch the boats go by. All was super clean. Recommended!

A little gem tucked away, the chalets are really well thought out with a high quality finish. The kitchen is really well furnished with high quality Bosch microwave and fridge freezer (if I recall correctly). There is a hair dryer also for those who have hair..... The Plates and cutlery is of a high standard and any place that provide champagne flutes gets a good star from me. The terrace area is very well thought out, with ample quality furniture and even the aircon unit is hidden away in a nice wooden enclosure. There is a dining table outside along with other seating - plenty of space to relax and not feel cramped . There is a bi climate pergola that can shield you from rain if you are unlucky enough and we'll thought out privacy enclosure on each side. The views are amazing and the sun rises and sunsets are just amazing. We stayed for 2 nights with 2 children late July , no regrets and really was a welcome disconnect . Bravo ! PS I struggled to find a nearby bakers accessible by foot but realized after that there is one next to the petrol station maybe 10 minutes walk from the chalets...

What a great find! Our "house-boat" was perfect. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and professional. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed. A really fun place to stay!!
