The best family hotel we‘ve ever been to in Germany and Austria. We‘ve had it recommended to us by our friends who are coming here every winter since quite a while. Looks like we’re going to be doing the same now 😁 The hotel team is great, there’s plenty of things for kids to do, the arrangement with the ski school in Galtür allow parents to have their own time as the kids are brought to the slopes and back to the hotel. For their own time parents can go skiing (finally together!) or chill in a spacious and comfortable spa zone in the hotel. The nearest Galtür ski resort is a bit small and doesn’t offer good slopes for beginners. But Ischgl is just 15 minutes away by bus and, well, it’s Ischgl, you can’t wish for much more, I think, regardless of your taste or skill.
Perfect for families! We had a wonderful week with outstanding service and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.
Overall, this was an ok vacation. The rooms were basic, but clean. The pool areas are nice and of course family friendly too. The wellness area was great for relaxing families. The food was nice, but not anything special. It is in a beautiful area that we enjoyed wandering/cycling through. Improvements could be made regarding the service. We had one outstanding waitress and the initial check-in staff was great too, but outside of that, the staff felt cold. Our son was disappointed because the indoor children's area was not great. The children's program was limited and didn't have many outdoor activities we have come to enjoy at other kinder hotels. It would be nice if there weren't video games in the lobby as our son found it very distracting.
