Amaara Forest Hotel Sigiriya

We had a wonderful stay at Amaara Forest Hotel. The food was delicious.The environment was truly lovely, surrounded by nature, and offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. We were also impressed by their flexibility, as they kindly offered both early check-in and late check-out, which made our travel experience much smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great service and excellent food.

The hotel is located in a very dense forest area, and a nature lover would definitely enjoy the ride. The stay was amazing but since it was off season, we were the only guests at the hotel which felt lonely (not hotel's fault at all). The pool was amazing and there was a spa where my parents had an amazing massage. The food was beyond amazing, everything was on point from the appetizers to the desserts. I loved all the aspects of this hotel. We also received a thank you gift, which was a plant and it was very generous of the staff to offer such a gift. Definitely would go again. Highly recommended.

I recently visited this place with my wife and was truly floored by the exceptional experience. The property is superbly designed, with rooms situated around the driest areas in a way that still gives a lush, green forest vibe—it felt like we were surrounded by nature. The pool facilities were excellent, and the restaurant and food were also outstanding. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience and I highly recommend it. A special mention to Kapil and his team—thank you once again for all your wonderful service. We genuinely felt valued throughout our stay. The property is well-managed and offers superb hospitality.
