Amara Hotel

From the moment we checked in till the time we checked out, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were much more pleasant than I anticipated from the pictures. And morning breakfast was good especially the meatballs! Yummy! Definitely returning back for the next staycation!

Hi everyone, We checked into the hotel today, which was listed with a good rating. However, we’ve unfortunately had a disappointing experience so far. The service has been below expectations—we had to call the staff multiple times just to get basic items like plates, and were still kept waiting. For a hotel positioned and priced as a 5-star property, this level of service is unacceptable. While we hold no personal grudge, we do believe that guests deserve value for their hard-earned money. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the guest experience.

Location is a total win for this hotel. You're surrounded by amazing food, from trendy restaurants to hawker centers, plus supermarket and tons of shops right outside the door. Hotel room was a decent size and I loved having a drinking water dispenser - super convenient. That said, the service at the front desk was pretty slow. Checking in and out felt like it took forever, and the breakfast food variety was pretty small. It’s not a fancy 5-star hotel, so if you’re all about location, it’s an ok choice.
