Currently having a lovely time here. It’s a great value resort in a stunning location. Rooms are nice and clean. There’s always something to eat and it’s always great. The beach and sea are heaven on earth. The staff are the nicest and most helpful people. And the Animation team work tirelessly to ensure everyone is having a good time and are entertained.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended Unfortunately, our experience at Amarina Sun Resort & Aqua Park – Sharm El Sheikh was terrible from the moment we arrived. • The entrance gate is far from the hotel and in very poor condition. We were delayed for a long time just trying to get in. • The reception area was chaotic and poorly maintained. No proper seating area while waiting, and the overall look was unpleasant. • Our room was located at the far end of the resort. Once inside, things got worse: • No running water. • Cleanliness was unacceptable (hair on the bed). • Uncomfortable beds, barely functioning A/C, broken bathroom fan, non-working TV, and very old furniture. • The promised “sea view” was misleading and not close to the beach at all. Food & Drinks: • Lunch had very few options, and the taste was bad. Juices were of very poor quality, and there were almost no desserts. • Dinner was no better – everything tasted low quality. • At the bar, I asked for tea and got the worst tea I’ve ever tasted. Bottled water wasn’t even available – just poured water in a glass. Internet: Only available at the reception and extremely weak – basically useless. The worst part: During check-out, the head of security refused to let the taxi enter to pick us up from the reception, even though we were allowed to enter by car at check-in. This made leaving even more frustrating. Some staff members were polite and tried to help, but overall, this hotel doesn’t meet even the basic standards. It shouldn’t be rated as a resort – more like a low-end hostel. I do not recommend this place and will never come back.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Hotel Experience in 9 Years of Traveling This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve had in nearly a decade of traveling. We arrived excited for our trip, only to be met with immediate disappointment. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like a nightmare. The hotel is in dire need of a complete overhaul. I genuinely can’t think of a single positive aspect to mention. The staff were consistently rude, unwelcoming, and appeared to be working against their will—zero hospitality and zero professionalism. The food was absolutely unacceptable: filthy, poorly prepared, and unsafe. One of my friends even ended up hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning. When we requested bottled water, we were repeatedly told they only provide cups—completely unreasonable and unhygienic, especially in a hotel setting. The atmosphere was eerie and empty, with maybe five guests in total during our stay. It honestly felt abandoned and unsettling, almost like a haunted location. I regret every second spent at this hotel and knew I had made a huge mistake the moment I arrived. For your own sake, DO NOT book a stay at Amarina Star / Raoof Star. You’ve been warned.
