Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol

Our recent family vacation at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's pristine condition; everything was spotlessly clean, and our room was a comfortable and inviting space to relax. The beautiful beach and pool area were definite highlights, offering endless fun for the kids and a peaceful retreat for us. The service we received was truly a cut above the rest. The staff at the pool, beach, restaurants, and reception were all wonderful—always friendly, incredibly helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. The massages we received were also excellent and a highlight of our trip. What really made this hotel stand out, however, was their extraordinary kindness during a small emergency. We needed to leave a massage treatment early to attend to our kids. The staff handled the situation with such grace, and the hotel management went above and beyond by not only waiving the charge for the unfinished treatment but also generously paying for our taxi to the clinic. This act of genuine care and compassion left a lasting impression on our family. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the kids were so sad to leave! This is a hotel that truly values its guests and delivers an experience that is both luxurious and deeply personal.

We carefully chose the hotel and arrived at an amazing place with professional and kind staff. Due to the war in Israel, we ended up stuck in Cyprus for over two weeks, and the hotel went above and beyond to support us with care and empathy. The rooms are spacious, the kids' playroom is excellent and fully equipped, and the staff is incredibly friendly and engaging with the children. Despite the tough situation of being stranded abroad, they truly made us feel at home. Without a doubt, we chose the best hotel in all of Cyprus! Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation don’t come here. There are thousands of families with children screaming everywhere. Not one peep is to be heard without a child screaming their lungs out left and right. The breakfast is nice but the food is quite bland. The dinner is awful. Personally I am not a fan of a buffet, with again thousands of families all around. We went to their other fish restaurant down at the sea which is just ridiculously expensive for the actual taste. The pools are nice but why make them salt when I could just swim in the ocean then. The reason I swim in a pool is because it’s cleaner and chlorine. The cherry on top of it all though is that we asked for a late checkout and they said that is most definitely possible, and that we should just come by tomorrow in the morning to confirm it. It was especially important to have a late checkout since we have a conference to attend and need time to shower and get ready for it. Then we come by in the morning and they said no not possible anymore because they have a booking waiting already. Is that not something they could have told us before so that we could have planned? Or called us and told us earlier in the morning? Or maybe find another room or something where we could do that. Suddenly the place is all booked out and they can’t help us. Don’t make empty promises if you can’t uphold them.
