We had an incredible stay at this hotel in early August. Hands-down the best we’ve experienced in Greece! The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was impeccable, with everything perfectly in place. The view was breathtaking! The food was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough - truly a gem!

Me and my boyfriend just got back from a one week stay here and we absolutely loved it. The staff are all so friendly and the hotel is stunning! We were given a welcome drink upon arrival and then taken up to our room which had amazing views! I was worried about the walk to and from town but it wasn’t too bad (Worth it for the hotel!). We were able to do numerous other things on the island during our stay. So pleased we stayed here and would definitely recommend.

From the outside, Amira Suites looks chic, boutique, and new. The pool area and small outdoor seating space are attractive, and at first glance, the property seems like it should deliver a relaxing, luxurious experience. Unfortunately, our stay didn’t match those expectations. The hotel itself is relatively nice, but the bottom of the shower and other water-prone areas had visible mold buildup. The included breakfast is advertised until 10:30, but in reality, it’s first come, first serve. If you arrive later — even by 9:00 — items that run out aren’t replenished, leaving late risers with little more than toast, an egg, or a banana. The bathroom design also has an odd and inconvenient feature: a floor-mounted doorstop that sticks out significantly. Both my wife and I hurt ourselves on it multiple times. Our bed sheets had stains, and the reusable room keys have the hotel name and room number written on them — a potential security concern if lost while out. It seems as this hotel is trying to cheap out by also reusing the individual bottles of soap and shower gels. The protective layer is removed off the top and the bottles looked squeezed and mangled. Public unisex bathrooms have tinted frosted glass that still allows visibility, which is uncomfortable. The coffee machine, located right in the pool area, is off-limits except in the mornings. Another major disappointment was that the pool — one of the main reasons we chose this hotel — closes at 7:00 p.m. After a day at the beach, returning for a swim simply isn’t an option. The highlight of our stay was the young woman at reception, who was friendly and accommodating. However, for travelers like us who work hard all year and look forward to a truly restful and luxurious vacation, this hotel may not be the best choice. There are many beautiful 4-star and luxury resorts on the island, and a bit of research can uncover better
