Ananta Inlay Resort

Beautiful hotel that is great value for money. The views from the pool are absolutely stunning and they look down to the end of a lovely wooden pier where you can get picked up for boat trips. There are a few local shops and restaurants around 10minutes walk down the road, but if you want anything more upmarket, you will have to get a tuk tuk or taxi into the main town. The taxi to the town will take around 25 minutes, so is a little further out than most people would like, but I found it meant the area was beautifully quiet and private. The breakfast is basic, but good and the staff will always come and serve you anything you like from the egg station. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - one of my friends was ill while we were here and they couldn't do enough for us to try make him feel better! They are also incredibly meticulous with their cleanliness of facilities and I would regularly see the pool staff cleaning the pool (twice a day!). There are bikes that you can borrow, free of charge, which is a lovely add on for anyone wanting to get out and about and explore the Red Mountain area too. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with gorgeous view and free minibar (2 coke and 2 beer), but apart from that I guess it was nothing special. Crazy overpriced and tried to charge us 15 bucks one way for getting transport to town. Location is also a bit far from city or anywhere, so nothing to do at night around the area except for some local eats. Tried to borrow the bicycle twice and we were told we needed to reserve and was fully taken the first time. When we went back next day to borrow, we were told that the bicycles were taken even though we had already reserved the day before. Slightly disappointed overall

Over rated hotel! Price/quality rate is way to high ! It has a nice view and the restaurant isn't that bad, but the room were made in a hurry or so! They were always forgetting things in the room, bottle weren't filled up, sometimes not even filling the mini bar (the items are free so yeah you should not take too much advantage!) The lobby is a ice rink bruuuh ! And the location for the lake is nice but if you wanna do anything else out of the hotel you have to pay 18 000 for the taxi.. quite a lot for 15km to the city.. hum
