Anchorage Motel

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have been on a three-week trip from Australia, staying in all sorts of accommodation, and I can honestly say that Anchorage Motel is the best place we have stayed! From even before check-in, Dave and Deb were an absolute delight to deal with—so helpful and accommodating, even when we changed our booking to arrive earlier and then added an extra night because we loved it so much! The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was the best we’ve ever experienced in any hotel—such a treat after long days of exploring! The pool and spa were immaculate, and the location is unbeatable, right across the road from the water with the most spectacular views. We absolutely fell in love with Paihia and the Anchorage Motel. Thank you, Dave and Deb—we will definitely be back!

A shirt 3 night ‘getaway’ stay late November with gorgeous weather. A literal stones throw from the beach and morning swim in the sea followed by breakfast on the balcony just heavenly. Clean and tidy rooms with all the items a traveller might need, safe off-street parking and very welcoming staff makes a stay enjoyable. Definitely staying there again

Our family had the best time over our two night stay here. The room was spacious, views to the sea so beautiful, and being able to swim in the (heated!) pool or relax in the spa was just perfect. Also just a short walk to the shops, and the beach is just across the road. Can’t wait to come back some time.
