Anemos Beach Lounge

Room was way smaller than they advertised. AC was set on a timer. I could understand wiring it so it does not run when you're out of the room, but setting it on a 3-5 hour timer is ridiculous. We had to wake up repeatedly in the middle of the night to pull the key out of the light switch and open the door to reset the ac. When I asked them to fix or remove the timer, their reply was a very cavalier "Our technicians can not do that now." Beds were bricks. There was no place for luggage. No extra pillows.. no hot water. When coming to Santorini, book elsewhere.

Bed was very hard, might as well be sleeping on the floor, towels were rough and have seen better days. Ever wonder why there are no pictures of the bathroom on the website? It's because it is terrible, see my pictures. Not only is the bathroom small, the shower itself is tiny and wide open allowing water to spray everwhere, and I mean everywhere, after every shower the entire bathroom was soaked. There is a drain in the shower and another drain in the center of the floor but both would get backed up and cause the entire floor to flood. Running the water in the sink would also cause flooding in the bathroom floor since the draining system did not work well. They were consistently out of hot water so get ready for some cold showers. The mirror is disgusting, you can see rust and spots where things used to be. It made me shudder. We paid 220€ a night, this was easily the biggest let down. No blow dryer or iron. To be fair the staff were great, very nice and helpful. The room just sucked.

Would not recommend this hotel. The day time staff is unfriendly and not helpful. They shut your electricity off in the middle of the night then it's hard to track anyone down. They do not provide phones in the rooms making the communication with the front desk that much harder. The beds are AWFUL. Sleeping on the floor would be better. The water is salt water and you cannot drink it. It's noisy due to being right next to restaurant. They provide very little to their guests. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is that it's located across the street from the beach. We stayed here for our honeymoon and were extremely disappointed. Would not recommend.
