We really looked forward to spending a night at this place whilst visiting home(Newcastle). However, we were a little disappointed....not in the accommodation itself,or the food, or the service....but the fact that most of the facilities mentioned on the website, was inaccessible at the time we requested to make use of it. My son really wanted to play golf and ride a bike, but we were advised that the shop had been closed and has been for a while. Despite that, we still had a lovely time. The food was average, the rooms were good, and the service from the staff was terrific! For the seniors of the Anew group, for such a beautiful place, and ample space to do almost anything... you guys should really consider adding more activities for guest to part take it, especially kids.

Review: Nestled in a serene mountain setting, this hidden gem offers the perfect escape for those seeking peace and tranquility. Surrounded by lush greenery and towering forests, the modern yet elegantly decorated building blends seamlessly with nature. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, exuding class and sophistication. The service was impeccable—professional, respectful, and truly welcoming. The staff made us feel appreciated and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We visited for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally affordable prices. The food was a delight, with flavors that danced on the palate. The vegetables were unlike anything we've tasted before—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The burgers, though slightly dry, were still delicious. And the coffee? Easily among the best we've had. Beyond the dining experience, the breathtaking surroundings made it all the more special. With views stretching far and wide, this is a place where nature and elegance come together beautifully. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable experience!

I don’t recommend this establishment at all, they definitely have some serious work to do. The potholes on the way to the hotel are just a taste of what is to come. Our room had a balcony door that didn’t open and we didn’t get bathrobes. Weird given that this is a 4 star hotel. The kicker was when we ordered room service which took 1.5-2 hours to arrive. When it did, the food quality was disappointing (to say the least). The ‘sourdough’ that came with our soup was just a plain old white Albany bread slice… and it was served without spoons! Due to the very slow service (and multiple follow up calls to reception), my partner had to go downstairs to fetch the spoons from the hotel. What a mess. The meals were unseasoned and they also brought the wrong items to us. All that for over R500 for the meals! Back home in Joburg, you can get a proper meal for that amount of money, and it will taste FAR better. Bear in mind, that due to the potholes you can’t even leave to grab a bite to eat elsewhere, so you really are stuck with a slow and lackluster experience.
