Well, where shall I start? Firstly- we had a brilliant, off season, holiday. However we are not fussy, picky travellers and are easily pleased. Anita Sunpark is a small, quiet, low budget, basic hotel that is not really geared towards British tourists. None of the staff speak more than a smattering of English (the majority of guests seem to be Russian) Although the guy who appeared to work permanently on reception did try (albeit in a slightly flirty, lechorous way) Attempting to speak a few words/phrases in Turkish went down well! Facilities are tired ( crumbling plaster, unstable bannisters etc) and not luxurious. Bed is comfortable, but there is no room cleaning- so don't be expecting daily fresh towels and your nightwear sculpted into fancy designs each day! Nobody entered our room except us for the week we were there!!. The bathroom often smelt distinctly drainy, but shower was high powered and always hot (although had to be hand held as wall attachment broken). There were also a couple of hours here and there without water. The air con was much more efficient than many far swankier hotels we have stayed in. There was no kettle or fridge in room and only one very small bin ( but larger bins around outside) Food was "very foreign". No toast machine or English breakfast. But we were more than happy with things like hard boiled egg and gherkin salad, with spinach yoghurt, crusty bread, olives and bowls of mint, watercress and parsley. Lots of beany stews and sweetcorn, aubergines at every meal and plenty of fresh water melon and plums. No white shirted waiters fetching you drinks and sprinkling flower petals on the tables. Think more like uni canteen; staffed by slightly surly teenage boys in espadrilles and the rather grubby, chubby chef who stands by the hot food, proudly smiling and gesturing for you to help yourself. All inclusive drinks are limited to a reasonably passable red or white wine and beer - all served in plastic cups ( until some Russians arrived and complained and suddenly we all got glasses 😀) Coffee, tea, soft drinks and water available from self service machines. Bar open 10 -10 Supermarket directly opposite. There are plenty of shops around but not many restaurants. Pool area and garden are clean and pleasant, with no annoying euro pop blasting out or "animations team" trying to persuade you to try some archery!! The beach (shingly, stony sandy) is a 5 minute walk away and the view of the mountains from the sea is spectacular. A cockerel crows from around 4am each morning giving a wonderfully rural feel and the regular call to prayer from a distant minaret reminds you you're in Turkey. Wifi is available (€10 extra for the week for each phone) but is a bit patchy, depending on where your room is. There is something quite unique and somehow authentically Turkish about this hotel, and once we had got used to it, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

If I could give less than 1 star I would!!! Food is not turkish food, the accommodation is beyond disgusting, sockets hanging out the wall, room unclean! The bed is hard and you can feel the springs, the springs come out the side of the mattress which me and my husband both cut ourselves on!. There is nothing to get covered up with other than a bed sheet. The shower room is rusted and very unhygienic, the shower doesnt work very well either, the shower runs out of water so come 5pm there isnt any water left for a shower. Staff are rude! Kicked out the pool because it closed at 7pm at night but music still blaring at 12 midnight. Have to pay for towels at £10 per towel and WiFi for 2 devices is £20. Just not accommodating at all. You pay almost £1000 and are treated unfairly. The hotel does not have a beach which is designated to the the hotel. The children pool isn't in working order, the only drink you can get from the bar when all inclusive is beer (efes). Your property isnt safe, other people here steal your stuff and are stupid enough to wear what they stole, No where to put your clothes so have to stay in the bags/suitcase, mojority of the people here live on the resort. . I WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITH THESE AGAIN! DISAPPOINTED
