Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place

I have stayed at Adagio Lille every summer for the past four years, usually for about 10 days, and each time my experience has been perfect. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and having air conditioning is a real plus. The staff is always very kind and genuinely eager to help with anything that comes up. I travel with my young son, and the hotel is very kid-friendly — there’s even a toy corner and books downstairs, which we really appreciate. I travel a lot around the world, and this place in Lille is definitely one of my favorites. It combines great location, comfort, price, and wonderful people.

Great location for walking the center of Lille! It's just a half block from the Rue Nationale. Follow the Rue Nationale a few blocks to the city center to see the Bourse, the Opera House and all the historic architecture. We arrived on a Saturday evening and Margot, at the front desk, greeted and gave us a rundown on the hotel and the local area. We had a two room apartment which was perfect for three adults, one child and one small dog. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the kitchen well equipped, including a dishwasher; the bathroom was large and bright. The breakfast offerings the next morning were outstanding. Fresh flaky croissants, fresh fruit, soft and hard cheeses, ham and turkey, scrambled eggs - a real cornucopia of breakfast delights! The hotel is located just across the street from the Eglise Saint Etienne, an old Jesuit church that was rebuilt following a fire in 1740. Walking outside on Sunday morning and hearing the parishioners singing during the mass was a touching start to the day. The boulangerie Papillon is a block away from the hotel and well worth the walk. Amazing breads and pastries!

Beautiful, clean hotel. Spacious apartment room with space to hang up clothes, a safe, a coffee machine (2 pods provided), dishwasher and large fridge. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was simple but of high quality and staff in the breakfast room were also very helpful and friendly. Great location - we were able to get to everywhere we wanted to see on foot. Only gripe would be that the room was advertised as having air conditioning - it does - but you are unable to adjust the temperature as it is set across the whole building. I was too warm, slept with the window open and I'm now covered in mosquito bites!
