Arabella on Boossa

This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect, right on the ocean. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and always available. They have a turn down service complete with bananas. The food for breakfast is made fresh and the selection of fruits are perfectly ripe. The dinners are made to order. After days of buffets it was nice to have a specifically cooked meal. The only critique is that my shower did not have hot water. It was a minor inconvenience and it did not ruin my experience. The rooms are quite bright in the morning. There aren’t any blackout curtains, so you’ll awaken with the sun. Falling asleep listening to the waves is amazing. The coffee is good.

We had a wonderful stay at Arabella on Boossa. After a warm welcome and a short tour, we were able to admire our suite, room 8, on the second floor. A large sleeping area flows into a cozy sitting area with a flat-screen TV. Behind that, you'll find the large bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, and a spacious walk-in rain shower. The suite also features a large covered balcony with a breathtaking view of the ocean and swaying palm trees. Everything exudes understated luxury, and the attention to detail is surprising. Even the layout of the registration form and the drinks & food menu are highly original. Small things like the welcome card, Nespresso coffee machine, the ultra soft bed linnen, the refined scents of the bathroom amenities makes you feel so welcome .... and at home ! We enjoyed a lazy afternoon by the pool with a few drinks, a walk on the beach at sunset, and were glad we didn't have to move for dinner. The Ahara restaurant offered a variety of exquisite dishes. The place is a gem. Beautiful boutique hotel, with every detail thought through, designed and executed. Staff are great, friendly, but not over the top. Food is great, whatever we ordered and ate was very tasty. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars is because we are a family of vegetarians and vegetarian options on the menu were very limited. Even though we only stayed a few days the food got quite repetitive. It is a small hotel, so they do not keep a lot of ingredients in the kitchen and a few times they run out of simple things like limes and claimed they could not buy them. We tried asking for anything different to eat, possibly off the menu, but that was a hard no. Overall great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would consider coming back for sure. Guys in the kitchen could get a little more creative.
