Araliya Green City Your Gateway to Everything in Nuwara Eliya

We had an excellent stay at the hotel! We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Thiagu, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He answered all our questions with great care and made us feel truly at home. The massages by Luxsana were absolutely amazing! She is exceptionally kind and talented ❤️

Our family of five spent one night at Araliya Green Hills, and it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hotel is spacious and well laid out, with modern rooms that are clean, warm, and fitted with heating (no AC, which isn’t needed in Nuwara Eliya’s cool climate). The rooms and bathrooms are generously sized and offer amazing views of the surrounding hills. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the modern fittings that made the stay feel luxurious yet homey. Breakfast was another highlight—an extensive spread with a variety of vegetarian options that were very similar in flavor and preparation to South Indian cuisine, which suited our group perfectly. The staff were courteous and welcoming throughout our stay, and a special shout-out goes to Kushan at reception, who was particularly helpful.

Araliya Green City offers a luxurious and comfortable stay right in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. The location is excellent — close to Gregory Lake and walking distance from shops and cafes, making it super convenient for exploring the town. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with spacious rooms, modern amenities, and a lovely view of the surrounding hills. I especially enjoyed the indoor heated pool and the variety at the breakfast buffet, which was generous and well-curated. Service was prompt and professional, with the staff ensuring every detail was taken care of. It’s definitely more upscale compared to other options in the area and perfect if you’re looking to treat yourself to a more premium experience while still enjoying the charm of the hill country.
