Arbatt Marmaris Hotel

Been there for a week. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Husein. The room was fine, high sealing, big balcony, Clean and tidy. Location is close to the beach (1 min walk). Food was tasty especially breakfasts and for those who love Turkish desserts you will definitely enjoy it!

Avoid at All Costs – This Hotel is a Complete Disaster I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn others. Let’s start with the drinks – advertised as draft, but actually warm, flat bottled drinks with the lids already open. The alcohol was completely undrinkable, like something out of a back alley corner shop. Staff were consistently rude, unhelpful, and indifferent. We were handed cups with lipstick stains on them – clearly not cleaned properly. Not once did I feel welcomed or looked after. Now the music… thumping club-level music from 9AM. Yes, you read that right – 9 in the morning. It never quieted down, no relaxing vibes anywhere in the hotel, just relentless noise that made it impossible to relax. The food was by far the worst I’ve ever tasted – and I’m not exaggerating. I’d genuinely prefer the gruel from Oliver Twist. Breakfast was cold eggs, no meat options, and not even any yogurt. Fruit selection? A single sad tray of melon. Deserts were soggy and barely edible, and ice cream was only served for one hour a day – like it’s a luxury item. What a joke. They even had the nerve to charge extra for towels, as if we weren’t already overpaying. The hotel itself was absolutely boiling, no air con anywhere in the building, making it impossible to escape the heat no matter where you went. This place is being sold as a 4-star but I wouldn’t even give it 2. Between the disgusting food, awful drinks, unbearable heat, rude staff, and loud music – it was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Save your money, your sanity, and your stomach.

This hotel does not correspond to a 4-star rating at all. The cleanliness and condition of the rooms were terrible. During our 8-day stay, the bed linen was never changed, the floors were never vacuumed or washed. The food was very poor and tasteless. We also heard that many guests got food poisoning. Loud music played under our windows until 1 AM every night, and it was impossible to sleep. Complaints to the hotel management were ignored. At the beach, although there were many sunbeds, none of them were marked as belonging to our hotel. After two days, we were told to leave all the places we used, being told they weren’t for our hotel. We then found out that our large hotel only has 20 sunbeds available for all its guests, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or its category on Booking. It was the worst place we could have chosen for a vacation, ruining all our mood and rest.
