We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very hospitable, especially the receptionists Angela and Laura, who were very accommodating and smiley at all times. Rooms cleaned daily. Very generous serving of food at breakfast and dinner. Spa was to a very high spec and much needed halfway through our stay. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs We stayed at this hotel for several days, and our experience was shockingly bad. 1. Room conditions – unacceptable: Our room constantly smelled like sewage, likely due to poorly installed or damaged plumbing. Plaster was falling from the ceiling, and the door wouldn’t close properly — it could sometimes be pushed open even when shut. We stayed in room 216 (to the best of my memory), and it felt far below any acceptable standard. 2. Theft from the safe: Our group had two rooms, and money was stolen from both safes — €200 from one and €2,200 plus earrings from the other. The safes were locked with personal codes, but we later discovered that the safes can be easily reset using a default factory code, which is publicly available online. This is a massive security flaw, as any staff member could have accessed them. 3. Staff response – unprofessional and offensive: When we reported the theft to the front desk, the staff laughed at us, were rude, and initially refused to call the police. Eventually, they did, but the hotel took no responsibility. Only part of the stolen money was returned, and we have still not received compensation through the hotel’s insurance. 4. Suspected staff member – no action taken: We had strong reason to suspect a particular housekeeper (the only one who cleaned our rooms), but the hotel defended her and accused us of making baseless claims. She did not speak English and was of darker complexion — possibly Spanish or another nationality. There are no security cameras in the hotel hallways, making it impossible to track who enters or exits rooms.

We were stolen at this hotel. More than €2000 and gold earrings were stolen from the safe in our room. €200 was missing from our friends room safe. There were no signs of forced entry into the room or the safe, so it suggests that the thefts were committed by someone from the staff. We were unable to open the safes in both rooms with our unique codes. When the staff opened the safe with the emergency code, they were empty. The hotel staff did not recognize his guilt. We called the police. Upon arrival, the police informed us that we would have to go to the station the next day to file a report. Therefore, we also lost a day of skiing. We received no apologies or regrets from the hotel staff regarding the incident. Be careful, there are no surveillance cameras anywhere in the hotel. The staff could not clearly explain who and when could have accessed the rooms. It’s very unfortunate that our vacation was ruined by such brutal and brazen behavior. Such incompetence and infiltration of thieves into the staff harms not only the hotel’s reputation but also the entire skiing resort of Madonna di Campiglio. It is also sincerely regrettable for the honest people working there.
