What a lovely hotel. Celebrating the heritage of the original house on the site with a Singaporean theme. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the fit out is top class. The rooms are well laid out well and feel very spacious due to their high ceilings. It's very quiet, and the black out blinds are amazing. Don't forget the lovely rooftop pool and bar. Highly recommended. Great sunset spot.
Extraordinary design and beautiful rooms and interiors, excellent service, very quiet and comfortable and in a nice location. We had a wonderful stay, and would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore! Will definitely return here if we come back to Singapore!
Pros: Looks exactly like the pictures. Very spacious room in Singapore’s context. High ceiling with plenty of mirrors which makes it even more spacious. Sound proofing is quite good, hardly hear my neighbours closing their doors. Rooftop pool is great. Cons: The water isn’t hot enough for showering. 2 out of 3 lifts are working to serve all 20 floors + carpark, can be slow. Not sure why they locked the 1 lift. Can be quite difficult to call for services. The line gets cut off or nobody picks up the call.
