Athenaeum Grand Hotel

Very nice hotel. We got the double room just for a night and we were extremely satisfied. The room was very spacious and also very clean. The location is OK, but there were two strip clubs next to the hotel and there were some sketchy people, but we had no problems. We arrived around an hour after midnight after we had to leave our previous hotel because of cockroach infestation. I called the front desk and the person who i spoke to was kind enough to reserve the room until we arrived. When we arrived, my girlfriend was feeling unwell and the staff made sure to help us in any way they could. I am very grateful for that! The next morning we had very tasty breakfast at the hotel. 10/10 i recommend and would visit again!

The rooms are very pretty and cozy and some of them have a spectacular view of the Parthenon which is very cool. The service is 5 stars, because whenever you ask for something they come straight away! And last of all the location… This beautiful hotel is situated in between 2 strip clubs which isn’t that nice. But overall I give it a 5 stars because the hotel is amazing!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay — the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the service is truly exceptional. The only minor drawback is its location along a highway, slightly away from the main tourist attractions. While bus and cab services are available, visiting places like the Acropolis and Plaka may require a bit of extra effort. One of the highlights of staying here is the nearby Lidl store, just a stone’s throw away. It’s a great spot for picking up confectioneries, olive oil, honey, and freshly baked goods. The prices are reasonable, and the selection is impressive.
