Aurora Resort & SPA

Stayed there a few times. A very beautiful and quiet place. Rooms have great beds and are well equipped. Most meals were delicious and the service was prompt. The hotel staff was very friendly. We especially enjoyed the spa. Excellent value for money. Would totally recommend it for a peaceful romantic getaway.

The top-notch experience we had years ago is no longer here. Disappointed and definitely not worth 5 stars — more like a 3-star motel now. The restaurant staff seemed inexperienced, and you’re left wondering how they ended up working at Aurora. The SPA was not working, and we were not informed about this before our arrival. The room had a broken fridge, no phone to call reception, and no air conditioning. Breakfast was limited and not great — again, more like what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. No free water in the room, and the toilets were of low quality. Yes, the nature around is amazing, and there were a few staff members (especially at reception) who made an effort. But still — not worth the cost. They charge like a 5-star hotel but deliver a 3-star experience.

The location is great if you're just stopping by for a coffee. However, our experience with service was disappointing. We had to wait far too long for our drinks, and the food took nearly an hour to arrive—even though there were only 3–4 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Definitely not what we expected.
