Avani Kalutara Resort

What a lovely resort. Ours was a big group for a batch get together so the hotel was practically full but the staff coped very well. The staff, I would say, is their strength, very well trained, hospitable, warm and always there to help. Good food overall. The breakfast was the best with a nice spread and good service as usual. The hopper lady was ultra fast, serving hot hot hoppers, with a warm smile, to a long line of hungry guests.

I have to say, as a local, this is the best service we've had in recent times. We booked their day out package for our family for around 20 people and have been really impressed with their service. They were super cooperative and flexible. Although it was a weekday, they were kind enough to set up the international buffet, which was amazing for the price. Their strength is their service. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating. We used the pool, and the lifeguard was very attentive with the kids. Some hotels totally neglect local customers and only focus on foreign ones, but this is not a hotel like that. I can highly recommend their place!!

Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care stood out, and I truly appreciated the personal touch they brought to the experience.
