Awaken Danang Hotel

We arrived before check-in time and it was quite awhile before we got our room at this great value hotel. Staff were apologetic about the delay; it was a busy Sunday. After that, the stay was excellent, with attentive and helpful staff, and a large, clean and well-appointed room. The buffet breakfast was good, with Western and Asian choices. The restaurant on the roof has great views and tasty snacks and meals. The hotel is located a little way from the main part of the beach, but access to the beach itself is just across the beachfront road. The pool is shaded and this is great on hot days.

This is an excellent hotel with great value for money. The condition is clean, and it offers all the essential services. However, the soundproofing of the room doors could be improved, and the pool water is a bit cold. That said, the reason I consider this a great hotel is because it delivers more than enough service for its price. If you're expecting a traditional 5-star hotel experience, this may not be the right place. I would say it's a very solid 4-star level hotel in both condition and pricing.

Staff are excellent very helpful and the best thing about the place. Location great right by the beach and the view excellent. The roof top restaurant also great staff and views. Small shop beside the hotel and great sea food restaurant beside the hotel also. The negatives The room I had two single beds that I asked to be joined, which they just pushed them together first then after I laughed as I thought it was a joke they went and got bedding to make it one bed. Then used the single duvet cover which didn't fit eventually going and gotting a proper size duvet that did fit. This meant that they didn't change the sheets or pillowcase for 9 nights! There was switches to tell them to clean the room which just look like non functioning light switches. Technology where its not needed, just the sign for the door do not disturb or clean works everywhere else. The balcony great option no furniture or anything to dry clothes and towels from the beach. The shower great shower but the shower door slideds and kept opening had to ask them to fix twice and still didn't stay shut. I paid more for this hotel so had a 4 star hotel expectation and it's not really there with this level. Overall positive experience but for the money I think I woukd stay somewhere else next time. Unless the improvements were made.
