Banyan Tree Puebla

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hotel architecture and interiors are stunning and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Arriving at 2am after delayed flights was quick and problem-free. The rooftop pool and bar have incredible views out over Puebla as well as delicious fish tacos. We also enjoyed our massages from the delightful spa team. All the hotel staff were without exception friendly and helpful, in particular our lovely breakfast waitress Gloria who kept us topped up with coffee, juices, pastries etc every morning with a smile and a lot of patience for my faltering Spanish, and Juan and his team at the pool bar who kept us well supplied with cocktails, good chat and the aforementioned fish tacos. The hotel location worked very well for us being very close to the heart of the historic old town centre of Puebla. Would choose to stay here again without hesitation.

Irene was simply wonderful to us and helped us in so many ways. We really enjoyed meeting her. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels over the years but this property and the staff are truly special. It’s so elegant and beautifully designed. Everyone is so welcoming — from Johan (John) to the staff at breakfast to the team at the pool. We enjoyed our time here so much that we booked one more night at Banyan Puebla! I would love to come back here once a year!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The property might be a bit dated as our first bathroom was covered in mold. However, the team was great in responding and worked to switch us to a cleaner room. They put in the effort to make up for it. Otherwise, the rooms are beautiful with a view of the temple. The rooftop view and pool are beautiful.
