Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

We returned to Maldives after COVID and we chose Banyan Tree again due to the last pleasant experience. And this time we brought our kid and parents with us and they too had a fantastic time. Needless to mention about the reefs near the hotel which was breathtaking and even our young kid got to enjoy the snorkeling to the fullest checking out sharks and all different colorful fish. Our stay at this Maldives resort was again remarkable, thanks to the extraordinary care and attention from the staff, they went the extra mile to make sure things are well taken care of. Special thanks to Waheed, the hotel manager, whose warm leadership ensured every detail was perfect, and Zendie, the restaurant manager, who made every dining experience delightful and personalized, this definitely helped compensate the quality of the food in the hotel that needs certain improvements. Chef Ann was wonderful and her Thai dishes are one of the best to try on the Island. We were especially touched by Okta, who went above and beyond to assist us even during her off-duty hours, showing genuine kindness and dedication. The presence of a clinic on the island also added peace of mind, reflecting the resort’s commitment to guest well-being. My family got an emergency after diving and good to have the help of the in-house doctor to care for him during our stay. This team’s unmatched hospitality made our trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Great hotel, offering unforgettable experiences. Firstly, it is located only 20 minutes away from the airport when traveling by speedboat. All the staff are incredibly polite and have a great level of english, all of them were great, I just couldn't remember all the names. We received a great welcome from Luu and Harry, which showed us the island and explained how everything works. The food was great, especially the omlette from the chef during the morning breakfast. There is a great variety of activities such as snorkeling around the house reef. For surplus charges, you could try scuba diving, which is a great experience, or go to an excursion to see the manta rays. Both marine lab and marine center offer great activities, such as save the reef from Harry and other staff. You should definitely try the night snorkeling with Chika, which will be the most insane 1 hour of your life. Finally, every 2 hours there is a boat which can carry you to the island nearby, where you can do snorkeling or diving. Definitely recommended this hotel which gave me unforgettable experiences for my whole life P.s. had fun chatting with Zendie and Chika, they are awesome people 😀.

We stayed at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru — and it was pure bliss! The resort is a slice of paradise: stunning beach, clear water, cozy villas — spotless, and thoughtfully designed — you can really feel the care in every detail. The service is absolutely outstanding. Staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, always smiling, and genuinely willing to help. Special thanks to the manager, Gulnaz, who welcomed us warmly and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and kind attitude made our stay even more special. The spa was another highlight — the massage by Catherine was simply amazing. Deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, one of the best I’ve ever had. We also loved both restaurants. The Japanese restaurant had a fantastic, serene atmosphere, and the Thai one offered bold, delicious flavors with beautifully crafted dishes. The staff in both were superb — warm, attentive, and highly professional. Housekeeping was discreet and excellent — everything was always perfectly clean, and the service itself was done so subtly we barely noticed. One thing that really surprised us — it often felt like we had the entire island to ourselves. That sense of privacy and peace was incredibly refreshing, especially after the hustle and bustle of city life. It was such a special, calming experience. The only minor downside was the smell after fogging in the villa — we had to step out for a bit to let it air out. But honestly, it was just a small issue in an otherwise dreamy stay. All in all — a perfect vacation. We can’t wait to come back!
